Florida Council of Instructuctional Technology Leaders (FCITL)-
Awarded Ipads and or cash awards to the finalists for Florida Innovative Principal of the Year for the past four years.
Grants for Florida Teachers-
Provided funding up to $3,000 each for innovative projects submitted by teachers in florida schools. Since January 2014, we funded more than $250,000 in many grants to public, private and charter school teachers. The focus of these grants involved innovative technology and sustainable energy and environmental conservation. These grants were focused on individual classrooms and had direct impact on student learning. Details are available on our website.
Sustainable Energy and Environmental Conservation Curriculum-
Provided funding for two Leon County Schools to teach STEM concepts using modules developed to focus on sustainable energy projects.
Gadsden County Schools Renewable Energy/STEM Academy-
In 2013 TERRA funded a summer academy for students in Gadsden County for 40 students.
3D Printer Project-
In 2013 TERRA funded a 3D printer project for Williams Middle School Business Technology Classes. This project was part of the school’s IB curriculum where students design solutions to issues and then can create them using 3D printer technology. Lessons learned were used to develop curriculum used in other schools in the district

Wind Turbine Evaluation Project-
Provided funding for the Alternative Energy Center in Key West High School, Key West, Florida to purchase and install a functioning wind turbine. |
